The Shirley sans meat from Timber is also my favorite! They get their spicy honey from Little Red Fox in the Forest Hills neighborhood and I'm hoping that one day they'll bottle it. If you haven't tried Little Red Fox it's worth the trip up Connecticut ave. They also have a great hot sauce they bottle. It's mild and has a sweetness to it - perfect for breakfast. Comet pizza is also great up there and I love the 90's childhood vibes it has, Bread Furst is also amazing, and if you need to work up an appetite between carb loading there's a Politics and Prose, the Soapstone-Valley Trail, and The Hillwood Estate - I know it's such a bummer to pay money for museums in DC but Hillwood is worth-it for the instagram gardens alone) I hope you're enjoying DC. It's without a doubt an underrated city full of personality.
