I can’t tell you how excited I am to share this book with you. It tells the story of my topsy-turvy relationship with anxiety and the many ways I’ve coped with it over the years. You’ll probably recognize Anxiety, a wide-eyed, nervous scribble that follows me almost everywhere I go:

Classic.

But you’ll meet some new characters too — namely, my motley crew of coping mechanisms (some helpful, some… not so much). There’s the Distractor, who loves to watch Love Island rather than face an anxious thought head-on, the Liar, who deflects from conflict with a well-crafted fib, and even the Partier, who relishes in the buzz of a few shots in order to soften my social anxiety. And that’s just a few of them:

From detailing my first unsupervised birthday party as a preteen to exploring the overwhelming life transitions as an adult, Give Me Space but Don’t Go Far shares the pivotal moments of my life and illuminates the lesson I've learned: with care, practice, and sound strategies, we can learn to co-exist with our anxiety—and maybe even love it. 

The book will officially hit bookstores on April 16, 2024, so I’m planning to share sneak peeks, behind-the-scenes, and more as we get closer. I cannot tell you how much your readership and support has meant to me over these years. You have helped me refine my voice, learn to be vulnerable, and revel in the absolute joy of online community.
