Thrilled to announce I’ve finished another sketchbook! Here’s me trying to one-handedly flip through it:
The last two pages are my attempt at capturing the Pacific Northwest’s beauty. First, the Kingston ferry, my favorite mode of public transit in Washington State:
And, of course, a larch hike (my first one ever since moving out here, which is wild):
I ended up buying another Stillman & Birn, complete with a Rani Ban sticker on the front:
The first page serves as a needed intention for the rest of the book:
Next, a some doodles, drawn while talking to a friend on the phone:
Gideon and I went to a concert in our neighborhood last Monday, and I was struck by how much goes on every night, no matter the weather or day of the week. Deep thoughts, of course:
To end, I designed the stamp collection of my dreams. Hire me, USPS!
To end, I give to you my fall playlist. This one feels perfect for a rainy afternoon spent painting (with a mug of hot tea!).
Thanks for reading!
OMG loved this! Especially the "nothing starts out fully realized or perfect or whole"
